How do you continue to foster a culture of learning after training attendees have left the lab? Last year Wichita State debuted their Microsoft Office Power User training program, jump starting training attendance and creating an enthusiastic learning environment for employees. Faculty and staff alike found themselves attending training sessions they would not have otherwise attended in pursuit of the WSU Microsoft Office Power User Certificate and acknowledgement for their hard work. This year, Wichita State launched a new blog, Office Bytes, delivering bite sized tips and tricks on Microsoft Office products. The Office Bytes blog has not only increased community engagement on campus, but also has generated positive exposure to the organization outside of campus. Come to this session to check in with Wichita State on the status of their Microsoft Office Power User program and hear about their newest effort, the Office Bytes blog.
